Wake Up, Bronco Nation: Boise State commits doing work; USATF star times; Joe Martarano

NCAA Football: Poinsettia Bowl- Boise State vs Northern Illinois Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

I opened up my own doughnut shop recently.

It’s called “Hole Foods.”

Apparently Joe Martarano entirely justified switching to baseball, is good at it

Which is not a shocker. He was going to succeed in any sport that he set his mind to. I just wish, for purely selfish reasons, that he had chosen football. But, alas, what’s done is done. It is going to be fun watching him develop into a baseball star. He’s got a lot of potential and will be making his way up the baseball food chain quickly.

Bronco MBB commit headed to an Under Armour camp

This is good news for Mr. Jaycson Bereal.

Is this the kind of camp where they have hotdogs, s’mores, and fun hikes in the woods? No? Seems like a wasted opportunity.

USATF Outdoor Championships have start times

As a recap: Sadi Henderson (800m), Marisa Howard (3k steeplechase), and David Elliott (5k) are all three participating.

The women’s 800m begins today at 5:25 p.m.. Henderson is in the fourth heat. She needs a top three finish (or be in the next fastest four) to make it to the semis.

Marisa Howard is in the second heat of the 3k steeplechase. The event starts at 8:13 p.m. She needs to be in the top five or next four fastest for a spot in the semis.

David Elliott runs his 5k on Friday at 9:10 p.m. The 5k counts as the finals so he has to do well right off the bat.

Another good luck to all the Bronco athletes participating the next few days.

Brandon Hawkins, Bronco FB 2018 commit, ranked pretty high in Texas

The no. 8 linebacker in Texas? That’s not too shabby.

Can’t wait to get Mr. Hawkins in a Broncos’ uniform. Should be awesome.

I have always wanted to, and I assume you as well, Chat with Hodor.
