The Broncos went on a tear of offers, seemingly passing them out like they were candy. Mix in the fact that they had a camp this last weekend, the football team was ripe to actually start getting guys to (verbally) commit to Boise State. And tonight, on a quiet Tuesday with nothing else going on, the Broncos netted another baller.

The fun thing about Head Coach Bryan Harsin lighting the beacon is that it creates buzz among the fanbase. Makes this offseason fun. Especially when the commits come fast and furious and make themselves known post haste.
And our mystery man did not waste too much time announcing his presence.

Mr. DJ Schramm hails from Clovis West High School in Fresno, California. The 6’ 1” 215 lbs class of 2018 footballer had 134 tackles, five sacks, and five forced fumbles as a junior.
Mr. Schramm holds offers from other Mountain West Conference schools as Air Force, and San Jose State. The other (current) FBS offer is Army. Northern Arizona, Idaho State, and Montana State round out the rest.
Schramm is currently a 3-star LB prospect according to Scout. Rivals has him pegged as a 2-star.
The Broncos have a lot of offers floating out there for the taking. But it seems as though the defensive guys are snapping them up as three out of the four known commits are on this side. With two triple option teams on the schedule, perhaps a focus on rangy guys that can cover the field is a priority.
Congratulations to Mr. Schramm and welcome aboard.
