Boise State Game Balls for Week of April 30th

We are nearing the end of the athletic calendar. And that means our weekly editions of Game Balls is close to ending. We will need to cherish these while we have them. So, until it is time to end this for the year, let’s get to some Game Balls!

Game Ball One:

Sadi Henderson (track)

Sadi Henderson was the only Bronco athlete at the Oregon Twilight. Which was no big deal as Ms. Henderson won the 800m with a career-best 2:04.10. That is good for another school record and the fifth-best time in Mountain West Conference history. So, not a bad night for the Bronco runner.

Game Ball Two:

Rebekah Cervantes (softball)

Ms. Cervantes went 4-4 and three RBIs at bat for the Broncos against the Nevada Wolfpack last Friday. The Broncos, thankfully, came away with that win 7-3. Cervantes has been great in the batter’s box. Hopefully she can continue her streak.

Your Turn

Kind of slim pickings last week as the athletic calendar is really pared down. Hopefully we will see a few more at the Mountain West Conference outdoor track & field championships coming up.
