I know we’re all still feeling the ENTIRE range of emotions about the wrestling/baseball saga, but the news cycle in Bronco Nation must go on and personally I’m welcoming any unambiguously good news. The Broncos received just that sort of news this evening as 6’5” Small Forward from Allen, TX Cameron Christon pledged his services to the Broncos.
Very blessed to announce my commitment to play basketball for Boise State University! #gobroncos pic.twitter.com/AjUfWVNXzp

Christon hails from the same high school as senior Bronco safety Cameron Hartsfield—a high school that has clearly almost reached their “Cameron quota”. Christon also represents a growing number of Lonestar State players on the Bronco roster, as he’ll join Alex Hobbs, Zach Haney, David Wacker, and Derrick Alston. Christon was the Texas 6-6A player of the year last season and is the 3rd known commit of Leon Rice’s 2017 class. He told the Idaho Statesman that he chose the Broncos over an offer from Northern Iowa, Long Beach State, and Dallas Baptist. Since this is nowhere near 1000 words...enjoy a highlight video of the newest Bronco.
