There was a lot of mixed feelings yesterday when this story was broken. The wrestling team was on a good track. New Head Coach Mike Mendoza was recruiting really well and had his athletes competing. The university will still honor scholarships and contracts (as they should) and help the athletes find new places to wrestle. I would hope the NCAA would grant waivers in this case so the athletes will have immediate eligibility.

Good luck to the wrestlers and those associated with the program.

Rathen Ricedorff no longer with the football team

Ouch.

There are a lot of rules in the NCAA so who knows what happened. Him and his wife, Kazzi, seemed like really nice folks. With all that they have had to go through (Kizzy’s illness) I look forward to them landing on their feet.

Now this is pretty cool. Great to see the Broncos back in the mix and hosting.

Now if the Broncos were to make it that year...
