Wake Up, Bronco Nation: Boise State WBB wins again; MBB plays tonight; Joe Martarano calls it a football career

I used to think there were only 25 letters in the alphabet.

Joe Martarano has gone to baseball

And my heart is broken.

All joking aside: I wish Mr. Martarano nothing but the best. His football play will live forever in my heart.

There are plenty of reason for his departure. Many of which probably begins with straight cash money. With his football injuries adding up he, most likely, did not want to risk any future potential earnings. I do not blame him at all. If I was talented enough to play any sport professionally (*snort*) it would totally be baseball.

Good luck Martarano. I know you will do great things on the diamond.

Bronco WBB makes it to the Mountain West Conference championships

And, oh boy, is Coach Gordy Presnell earning every dollar this year. This could be the second tournament championship in three years. And an opportunity to send the seniors to one last NCAA tournament.

The last two games the Broncos have played have been harrowing. My heart can’t take much more than this. I mean. If they are fortunate enough to win the championship it will be fantastic. But still.

A different Bronco diver MAKES the NCAA tournament

First in Boise State history. Congratulations to Ms. Cassidy Bose (it took me three attempts to not spell her name wrong) on her accomplishment. She needed 11th place to make it and, well, she got just that! So go on with your bad self Ms. Bose and we will be keeping track!

Bronco MBB take on San Diego State tonight

Which is going to be a really tough game. The Aztecs expended a lot of energy to gut out that win against UNLV. But doubtful their legs are tired yet. I imagine I will have ulcers by the end of the night.
