I got this new chapstick today.
It’s the balm.
Bronco swimmer juuuust misses the NCAA cut
What a bummer. Bronco Senior Karli Kriewall came really close to representing the Broncos at the big tournament. Still good to see that she made it that far.
Bronco WBB won a thriller in Las Vegas yesterday
And boy was it a doozy. 17 lead changes. An improbable three by the Lobos to tie it up with three seconds left. An even more improbabler (that misspelling is intentional by the way) by Bronco Senior Brooke Pahukoa to win it. A GREAT showing by the women’s team.

The W gives the Broncos 23 wins on the season. Remarkable. It also gives them their their entry to the Mountain West Conference semifinals where they run into the #1 seed Colorado State. Like the Lobos before, Boise State split the regular season matchup. Boise State took the first meeting 51-45 at Fort Collins. Colorado State took the next one, in Boise, 60-53. Kind of a head-scratcher that the away teams won, but oh well. The game tips off at 7:30 tonight. Try to tune in and cheer on Boise State.
Chandler Hutchison and Paris Austin get all-MWC honors
This time by the coaches. Mr. Hutchison made first team while Mr. Austin made honorable mention. Hutchison’s selection is well-deserved. Austin’s I am fine with (also obviously deserved). Also: Hutchison honored as an All-District player by the USBWA. Congratulations to both these guys.
The Little Team That Could
This is an article about the Boise State’s gymnastics team. A top 10 team in the nation. Not sure where the “little” part came in seeing as how they’ve been pretty darn good for a while.
Former Bronco star James Webb III out with injury
This is a disappointing thing as he’s out for the rest of the season. He’s had himself quite the D-League season so far. He even got to 40 points in a game.
Here is to a quick recovery so he can get back on the court (eventually).
