Get ready for a Monday night MBB game
And the game is going to be on the ESPN mothership.

The Broncos, at this point, are playing with house money. I doubt a whole lot of people expected them to get even this win. So whether or not they steal one at Illinois, I think we can put this season down as a success despite the lack of Mountain West titles.
Send the Bronco WBB off to Los Angeles in style!
This note comes from the Boise State athletic office:
Boise State fans are invited to gather outside of Taco Bell Arena on Thursday as the women’s basketball team departs for Los Angeles and the NCAA Tournament! The Broncos will load the bus near Lobby 2 of Taco Bell Arena and depart for the Boise Airport at 4:15 p.m. Fans are encouraged to gather by 4 p.m.
Parking is available for free in the west stadium lot for fans until 4:30 p.m.
Boise State opens NCAA Tournament play on Saturday against host UCLA at 4:30 p.m. (MT) on ESPN2. The Broncos have won a school-record 25 games this season and are riding a 10-game win streak after winning the Mountain West Tournament Championship last week in Las Vegas.
Which is a pretty awesome gesture. The Bronco WBB has had a pretty darn good year and it would mean a whole lot if they had a big crowd to send them off. The men’s version stole a game away. Maybe the women can do the same? Their region of the bracket would also run into the brick wall known as the UCONN women’s team. Only means the Broncos have the opportunity to do something special.
Bronco swimmers finish 23rd in the 800 meters
Kind of disappointing, but whaddyagonnado? For a little bit of context as to the finish:
Heat 1's winning time will be the time Boise State needs to beat in Heat 2 for a top-16 finish and (at least) All-America honorable mention
— Boise State S&D (@BroncoSportsSD) March 15, 2017
Kind of confusing, to me, that the Broncos would have to beat the best time in the first Heat just to get 16th. But that is just how these things go. Congratulations to the Broncos for being able to make it. The usual suspects got the top three slots: Stanford, California, and Michigan respectively.
Bronco gymnasts won weekly awards
This had actually happened the other day, but I had overlooked it. Never too late to give credit where credit is due.
