Basketball GameThread: Boise State vs Fresno State

Troy Babbitt-USA TODAY Sports

Only two more games remain in the Broncos regular season, but tonight's senior night tussle against Fresno State is no gimme. Fresno State dispatched the Broncos with relative ease earlier this conference season and the Broncos will need big efforts from their departing upperclassmen if they can hope to flip the script. First place may have slipped from the Broncos grasp with a loss to Nevada, but there is plenty to play for this evening (besides the seniors). Boise State (18-9) can clinch a top-3 seeding at the MWC tourney with a win tonight while the Bulldogs (17-11) are playing for a first-round tournament bye. History is on the Broncos side as they've won 12 of the last meetings against the Bulldogs at home.

Boise State will be honoring three seniors—Nick Duncan, James Reid, and Matt Grooms this evening, so if you can be at "the bell", give them a warm send-off. If you can't be there physically, make sure to attend in spirit like recent grad Anthony Drmic.

How to watch

The game will be broadcast (8pm MT) on CBS Sports Network (DirecTV 221, Dish 158, Cable ONE 139/1139) with John "Don't call me 'Pat'" Sadak and Chris Walker on the call and of course, for some local flair, you can tune in to 670 KBOI for the dulcet tones of Bob Behler and Abe Jackson.

Betting lines

Boise State is a 4.5 point fave if you're feeling lucky.
