FINAL BSU 76 Air Force 66

Boise State reeled off its 4th win in a row in convincing fashion, taking down Air Force 76-66. The 7,208 attendees were not disappointed.

4 Broncos scored in double-digits, led by Justinian Jessup and Paris Austin with 14. Hutchison finished with 11 and Wacker had 10. Hutchison matched his point total with rebounds, finishing with 11 as well.

Looking at the stats, it would seem that Air Force and Boise State were evenly matched. The telling figure is the free throws, where Boise went 20 or 30, a solid 67%. Air Force didn’t fare as well at 53%. Boise State actually finished behind in FG% (42% to AF 48%) and 3-pt FG% (42% to AF 45%).

It was a solid team performance, finished off with a 13 pt run for the Broncos. Boise State travels to the Pit at UNM on Valentine’s Day looking to improve to 17-7. UNM will be coming off a solid break after a win over Air Force as well. Go Broncos!
