Wake Up, Bronco Nation: Boise State MBB wins; WBB up next; Sadi Henderson

NCAA Basketball: Boise State at Colorado State Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

I should have been sad when my flashlight’s batteries died.

Instead I was delighted.

Bronco MBB left Colorado State with a W last night

And man, oh man, was it nice to get that one. The Broncos had led by as many as 17, but the Rams were trying to win too, apparently. No matter. It only came down to the last few minutes before the game settled in the Broncos’ favor. The win puts the Broncos at 7-3 in conference play and sole possession of second place. The Broncos’ next two games will be against Utah State and Air Force. May the odds be ever in their favor for those two.

Bronco WBB take on the Rams tonight

The Rams are in first place in the Mountain West at 8-1. Should be a challenging one as the Broncos try to put together some momentum after a home win over the Wyoming Cowgirls. Both the Rams and the Cowgirls are atop the MWC right now.

Sadi Henderson the MWC Track athlete of the week

Boo and yeah! Ms. Henderson has the fourth fastest 800 meter time this year in NCAA Division I, natch. She is kind of good at this whole “running” thing.

Hey, guess what today is?

Well, yeah, Wednesday would be technically correct. But it’s February 1st and that means it’s National Signing Day! So you should follow along on OBNUG Twitter and Snapchat for some fun stuff throughout the day. Interviews. Pictures. Me (Damien) doing stuff wrong and looking a fool. You know, the usual.

How bout watching some gifs? That one is specifically a smoke axe. Not entirely sure why.
