Pretty active last week. Here we go.
Chandler Hutchison (basketball)
Almost recorded a 20 and 20 game against Illinois State. While he didn’t have the greatest game against UTEP, he more than made up for it with 18 rebounds by his lonesome against the Redbirds.
Allie Ostrander (XC)
Fourth place finish at the NCAA Nationals. Elite 90 award recipient for the athlete with the highest GPA. And led the Broncos women’s team to their best finish at nationals. The fourth-place finish gave her All-American Honors as well.
Sierra Nobley (volleyball)
She is an offensive wunderkind! She led the team in kills and points in both matches last week. As the conference leader in kills, she continued her domination.
Abbey Sorensen (swimming)
Did really well last week in Texas. She had the best times of all the Broncos in their respective races. She placed third in the 200 backstroke final.
Brett Rypien (football)
Three hundred yards passing. Three touchdowns. Didn’t turn the ball over once. Heck. He probably earned a Game Ball just on the 87-yard TD pass to Richardson. Was an absolute dime!
AJ Richardson (football)
Long of 87 yards. Career high of 123 yards. And all that on three targets. Was great to see Mr. Richardson break out in this way and especially against Air Force.
And there we have it for another week.
