Broncos took early scoring struggles, and a very early deficit, to shoot their way to a 90-69 victory over the Southern Utah Thunderbirds.

The Broncos had an early lead thirty seconds into the game off a Lexus Williams FG. The Thunderbirds would respond with a Jadon Cohee three. The Broncos would then trail Southern Utah for the next ten minutes of game time outside of a brief minute when the Broncos were tied 8-8 with the Thunderbirds.

A Justinian Jessup three at the 8:45 minute mark finally put the Broncos above Southern Utah 16-14. Thunderbird Dre Marin hit a three of his own to take back the lead. This would be the last time Southern Utah would be in front of the Broncos for the rest of the game as a jumper from Jessup put the Broncos up 18-17 with 7:51 left in the first half.

For the rest of the first half, Southern Utah would never get within one as the Broncos were able to put together some great scoring possessions. The Broncos would stretch their lead (twice) to 13 in the first half and go into the intermission up 42-29.

The second half saw more Boise State shooting as they were able to stretch their lead to a game-high 28 (84-56) points from an Alex Hobb jumper.

The Broncos were able to clear their bench and managed to get 12 Broncos on to the court. To which all, but three (Malek Harwell, Derrick Alston, and Chasdon Jardine), Broncos were able to get on the scoreboard.

Justinian Jessup shot well beyond the arc by hitting 6 of 8. Jessup was also 8-12 on field goals. He led the Broncos with 22 points. He added four rebounds and an assist to his totals.

Alex Hobbs was second on the team with 19 points on 9-13 shooting and hitting a three. Hobbs had a couple of rebounds and three assists.

Chris Sengfelder added to the Boise State three shooting by hitting 3 of 6 three pointers. And three rebounds.

Robin Jorch added some valuable minutes by hitting a perfect 4-4 from the field and 2-2 on the freethrow line.

Chandler Hutchison had seven points, six rebounds, and five assists.

The Broncos next head to the Puerto Rico tip-off at Myrtle Beach to face the UTEP Miners on November 16th.
