Wake Up, Bronco Nation: Boise State soccer wins; Graham DeLaet withdraws; Demarcus Lawrence—dominant

Did you hear about the English teacher that went to jail?

She got a full sentence.

Bronco soccer whoops up on UNLV yesterday

The reigning MWC champs got mollywhomped (or I should be saying Raimee-whomped) by the Broncos with a 6-1 whooping.

The turnaround for the Bronco squad is quite amazing. The Broncos only got six wins all of last year. With yesterday’s notch, the Broncos have the opportunity to double that win total against Utah State later this week.

Coach Jim Thomas has his team rolling on a four-game win streak (yes, there is a tie mixed in there as well). Being able to send his Seniors out on top with a few wins in the MWC tournament would be pretty amazing.

Doug Martin with 80 yards in Buccaneers’ loss

I never know quite how to feel about these. 80 yards is ok, but I always have high expectations for Mr. Martin.

Demarcus Lawrence and Tyrone Crawford: doing things in Dallas

Lawrence got a strip-sack on a play in the redzone. And Crawford recovered a different fumble.

Seems like Lawrence kind of made the right decision to go pro when he did.

Definitely putting in the work this season.

Jay Ajayi only 77 total yards in Dolphins’ win

Sometimes the opportunities are there. Sometimes they are not.

Graham DeLaet withdraws from tournament

Article does not specify the reason. I hope it’s nothing serious.

Also: in case you were wondering where Mr. DeLaet was in the FedEx Cup Standings.

Donte Deayon still on the Giants active roster

When Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie came back it could have been iffy. Real iffy.

Patriots possibly going to make moves to get Shea McClellin back

He’s been on injured reserve so he’s still got to wait a few more weeks. But looks like the Patriots are going to make sure he’s back on the active roster.
