Twas a good week last week. Very good.
Game Ball One:
Raimee Sherle (soccer)

The Meridian, Idaho native is only a sophomore and she’s scoring for the Broncos. A lot. She had nine goals (as of last week) which leads the team. It’s as if she’s kind of good at this whole “soccer” thing.
Game Ball Two:
Allie Ostrander (XC)

The Bronco cross country team was busy last week. And Ms. Allie Ostrander led the way with a ninth place finish in Wisconsin. Which is actually kind of jarring. Anything but a first-place finish is just so weird to type. Still, she moved through the field pretty deftly when needed. I assume this is her calm before the storm and just her getting ready to pummel her competition.
Game Ball Three:
Avery Williams (football)

Raise your hand if you love it when Avery Williams houses a punt return for a TD. My hand has been raised since Saturday. My arm is tired. But ohhhhh so worth it. Mr. Williams is a dangerous punt returner and I just wish more teams would be willing to punt directly to him.
Game Ball Four:
Kekaula Kaniho (football)

One thing I am really enjoying about this team is the heads-up reactions and never quitting on a play until the whistle blows. Also, I want to include his clip.
OH NOOOOOOO!!! Chapman's fumble is scooped up on the bounce by Kekaula Kaniho, who takes it 34 yards to the house! 14-0 Broncos! #BleedBlue pic.twitter.com/toYJVax8my

I could watch that all day. The Aztec guy just looks at the ball and doesn’t react. Kaniho made his move and kept going until the play was officially dead. Love that hustle.
Game Ball Honorable Mention:
Whoever runs the Boise State football Twitter (the internet)

A good chunk of you may not be Twitter users. I wouldn’t blame you if you weren’t. But sometimes there is just absolute gold. And, whoever runs the account, was just on FIRE on Saturday night/Sunday morning. I have a decent idea of who the mastermind is, but I won’t unveil him here. But I will definitely share in his brilliance.

That was the first jab. His uppercut?

Which sparked a firestorm of Bronco fan pettiness. Which yours truly also participated in. It was a good night to be on the internet.
Your Turn
Ok guys. Have at it.
