Wake Up, Bronco Nation: Former Boise State players out of NFL playoffs; Athlete commits; Wrestling

Wild Card Round - Miami Dolphins v Pittsburgh Steelers Photo by Justin K. Aller/Getty Images

I would like to get into making teas.

But I hear the learning curve is pretty steep.

NFL Playoffs knocked out some Boise State alumni

The Miami Dolphins fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers. And Jay Ajayi’s first year in the playoffs comes to a close. Here is to his chances to to getting back.

The New York Giants lost to the Green Bay Packers. While Darian Thompson was hurt, and Donte Deayon was on the practice squad (though injured as well), having them progress through the playoffs would have been nice.

But not all hope is lost. The Seattle Seahawks (with a healthy Jeron Johnson) square off against the Atlanta Falcons this Saturday. The New England Patrios, along side Shea McClellin, face the Houston Texans (also on Saturday). And the Boise State Dallas Cowboys (Orlando Scandrick, Demarcus Lawrence, Tyrone Crawford, and Kellen Moore) take on the Green Bay Packers.

Congratulations to the former Broncos still hanging around.

Boise State WBB picks up a basketball commit

Good to have her aboard!

Bronco women’s track & field also gets a commit

Boy. Sure wish I could commit to Boise State at Disney Land.

Bronco wrestlers having a rough go of it

They lose a dual (and it was not close) to the North Dakota State Bison. Not the best. BUT still working out a lot of kinks, so hopefully they will figure it out.

So UC-Berkeley is going to be finding a new head coach

The university fired Sonny Dykes. Cool. Fine. Whatever. BUT it kind of depends who they decide to interview.

So if Cal decides to move forward with the former Boise State defensive coordinator, look for him to poach an assistant or two. I hate the coaching carousel.
