Broncos close the deal with massive Arizona O-lineman

NCAA Football: Poinsettia Bowl- Boise State vs Northern Illinois Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The commitment beacon was relit this morning with the embers still smoldering from the Drake Beasley commitment last night. This morning’s verbal is not nearly as fast as the speedy running back, but what he lacks in quickness he more than makes up for in sheer size. Moments ago, Saguaro (AZ) offensive lineman Sean Seawards confirmed what many had suspected and announced his intentions to sign with the Broncos in 10 days.

The massive guard is somewhere between 6’3” and 6’4” and between 315 and 320 lbs. and also has a glorious mane that’s sure to get more glorious if it’s discovered that it’s the Samson-esque root of his strength. Don’t take my word for it—this is a certifiable man-mountain.

Note also that Coach Harsin spurned his normal “Harsin” finger point for a subdued pose—what does this mean?! Visitors picture above are (from left to right) Seawards, Beasley, Harsin, Seleti Fevaleaki (BYU DT commit), LB recruit Anthony Pandy, and Cartrell Thomas (WR commit).

Seawards is listed as a 3-star by Scout.com and had offers from Adams State, Air Force, Army, Navy, and New Mexico. He was also slated to visit UCLA next weekend, but now I'm wondering if that will actually be the case. Scout also considers Seawards the 3rd best OG in the entire state of Arizona.
