Basketball GameThread: Boise State vs Fresno State

Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

Hopefully no one will be streaking in Fresno...but the Broncos will take their 7-game win streak to the Save Mart Center nonetheless. Boise State (11-4) is undefeated in MWC play and sits atop the conference for the time being, but a stingy Bulldog team (10-7) will hope to chip away at that conference lead this evening. The Bulldogs have lost their last two games, but have yet to lose at home in conference play this season and the Broncos haven't won in the valley since 2013. The Bulldogs currently have five players averaging double-figures, but the Broncos should probably be the most worried about senior guard Paul Watson's 14 PPG and 5.1 RPG. Watson had 11 points last season against the Broncos, but he certainly has 20+ games in his tank.

The Broncos will need to get good games out of their usual suspects (Hutchison, Duncan, Austin), but will need to rely on bench play as well—which has been stellar of late, with four games where the bench has scored over 30 points. Bronco center David Wacker is in a boot and will not be available today.

How to watch

The game will be streamed live HERE courtesy of the Mountain West Network or if you're travelling, you probably shouldn't be surfing OBNUG...but if you are you can also multi-task and tune in to 670 KBOI.

Betting line

This game is a virtual pick'em but you might be able to put a nickel or two on the Broncos at -1 or -2.
