It is as if the Mountain West Conference took a gander from our very own Game Balls and took notice. Today, the MWC decided to bestow player of the week honors to Boise State’s very own Sierra Nobley (offensive) and Maddi Osburn (defensive).

Ms. Nobley’s 1,000 kill achievement, and third double-double, were both already recognized earlier but she also was responsible for five points in a 6-0 run to close out Cleveland State.
Ms. Osburn got the defensive nod because she had 63 digs and only two reception errors in 56 attempts. From the libero spot she also had 30 digs against Cleveland State, which led the team.
The weekly sweep follows in the footsteps of last week’s honorees, Elsa Descamps and Bree Hammel, both of UNLV.
Next weekend the Broncos (4-2) head to the Idaho State Invitational to match up against the likes of Idaho State, BYU, and Missouri.
Then the weekend of the 15th, Boise State hosts the Boise State Classic where Arizona State, UC Santa Clara, UC Davis, and Portland State will make appearances.
