Bronco football is back!! As you all know, the Broncos put a hurtin’ on the Ragin’ Cagins down in Louisiana. Despite the heat and humidity that played such a huge role in the game, BSU still came out with a 45-10 victory. But you aren’t here to read about our current Broncos. No, you want to know how our future Broncos did. Let’s find out!
Jermani Brown, ATH, Midlothian HS (Midlothian, VA)
Brown’s Trojans dropped another one, this time to Powhatan, 33-13 on Thursday. Stats for Jermani this week weren’t available. Midlothian will be looking to get a win this Thursday against Bird.
Marques Evans, DB, Newbury Park HS (Newbury Park, CA)
NPHS put a whoopin’ on Agoura on Friday, winning 62-21. They are now 2-0 on the season and will take on Westlake this Friday. I couldn’t find stats for Evans, but he has a nice little highlight reel below.
Zeke Birch, DT, Madison HS (Rexburg, ID)
Madison took down Idaho Falls handily in their 45-8 win on Friday night. Stats for Zeke, again, were not found. It does sound like he was a hndful though. They will look to stay perfect when they visit Pocatello this Friday.
Boise State DL commit Zeke Birch was double teamed all night, ran down QB multiple times, and caused havoc in the run game. Fun to watch.

Aisa Kelemete, DE, Highland HS (Pocatello, ID)
The Rams lost again, this time to Eagle by a final score of 35-21. No stats were available for Aisa due to his injury. The Rams will be looking for their first win when they take on visiting Capital High School.
Highland coach Gino Mariani said DE Aisa Kelemete out 1 month w/torn labrum. Injury happened in jamboree last week. #IDpreps

Isiah Moore, OT, Mesa CC (Mesa, AZ)
The Thunderbirds lost a close one to Phoenix on Saturday 43-42. It was on the final play of the game too. Mesa looks to get back in the win column this Saturday against Eastern Arizona.
Breydon Boyd, LB, Katy HS (Katy, TX)
Katy edged Klein Collins 50-49 on Saturday on a gutsy 2-pt conversion play in overtime. That sounds familiar... I couldn’t find Breydon’s stats unfortunately.
Michael Young, DB, Dodge City CC (Dodge City, KS)
Young’s Conquistadors beat Iowa Central on Saturday 45- 21, moving to 1-1 on the year. Young had 4 total tackles, 3 of them solo. Dodge City also only allowed 117 passing yards in the game. DCCC travels to Kansas Wesleyan on Sunday next week.
Chase Cord, QB, Sunrise Mountain HS (Peoria, AZ)
The Mustangs moved to 2-0 after beating Casa Grande 34-28 on Friday. Chase threw for 219 yards and 3 TDs in the win. Sunrise Mountain hope to stay perfect this Friday when they travel to Liberty.
Mike Young, OT, Queen Creek HS (Queen Creek, AZ)
Queen Creek beat Sahuaro on Friday 34-17, moving to 2-1 on the year. While stats usually aren’t kept for offensive lineman, the Bulldogs running back had 20 carries for 150 yards (7.5 ypc) and 2 TD. Their QB was 20 of 30 for 282 yards, 3 TDs and 1 INT. I’d say the OL did their job pretty dang well. Boulder Creek visits the Bulldogs on Friday, looking to leave with a win.
Apologies for the missing stats/info on most of these guys. Sometimes the info can be tough to find or I am just terrible at searching for it lol.
Big game ahead this week for our Broncos and best of luck to all of our future players. Looking forward to an awesome season for our Broncos as well as our 2017 commits! GO BRONCOS!
