Ok, so I know Tommy isn’t #12. He’s #3, but we have two #3s and I feel like Tommy deserves his time just as much as Chance. So today, we highlight Tommy Stuart.
#12 (really #3), Thomas Stuart, RS Junior, QB

Stats:
Height: 5’ 11”
Weight: 203 lbs (+7)
High School: Butte J.C., Baltimore, MD
How'd he get to the Blue™?
Tommy didn’t get a ton of attention out of high school. That didn’t bother him because he decided he’d go win a California Junior College State Chamionship with Butte JC. Doing so got him an offer from the Broncos and Elon. He wisely chose the Broncos and we thank him for that.
Nickname
“Tommy Football”
It’s pretty much what everyone calls him, so I’ll carry on the tradition.
Look-a-like
Sticking with Patrick Swayze here.

Career Highlights
For whatever reason, it feels like Tommy has been here a while, but he’s only actually played one season. He red shirted his true sophomore season, with last season being his red shirt sophomore season. He was 12 of 18 (66.7%) for 114 yards and a touchdown as well as 30 rushes for 62 yards and 3 more TDs. Solid contributions as the back-up QB.
2016 Prospectus
Tommy’s status as a backup will continue, barring injury, but he will play plenty. With expectations high for Rypien, Tommy has continued to improve and welcomes his role as the backup QB.
He will have plenty of opportunities to play with specific packages designed to utilize his speed. His touch on the ball has improved as well, so I expect he will catch some defenses sleeping with a touchdown throw or two.
Fortunately we have Tommy for a couple more seasons. It’s always great to continue to develop players, even if they are not the starters. He will bring a lot of knowledge and experience with him.
Is he on Twitter?
It’s almost disgusting how likeable he is.
Thanks to all the fans that made it out tonight, for the charity softball game. I hope everyone had just as great a time as we did playing.

Completely made up fact
Tommy’s favorite Olympic event is the single canoe sprint. He likes the power, the speed, and how majestic they look.
