Well how about this bit of news? On a weekend that marks 13 days until kickoff, the Broncos were able to get another verbal commitment to announce himself.

For those who aren’t “in the know” Mr. Jermani Brown, 5’ 11” 175 lbs, is a 4 star-rated cornerback out of Midlothian, Virginia. He’s originally from Southern California.
Jermani is not from Virginia. He's from Calabasas, California. Recently transferred to Midlothian.

He’s got that ranking from 247Sports, Rivals (where he is a Rivals 100 athlete), ESPN, and Scout.
In other words “he’s kind of a big deal.”
In the “Come to our school, Mr. Brown” sweepstakes, there were more than a few schools that had tossed in their respective hats. Mr. Brown had offers from the likes of: Arizona State, Michigan State, Syracuse, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, North Carolina and—you guessed it—Idaho.
Truly we are lucky that we dodged that Idaho swoop of Mr. Brown’s talent. Looks as though defensive backs coach, Ashley Ambrose, has been able to provide a good recruiting jolt in his brief time with the Broncos.
The Broncos look to add more firepower, and notoriety, to #DBU with Mr. Brown’s inclusion. I just hope we don’t lose the key on some of these.

Now the agonizing several months of “holding on” to these commitments and they make it to campus. As always, these are just verbal commitments that are non-binding—for both the school and the student.
As for right now, we will watch Mr. Brown’s highlights and not be bored on a Sunday evening.
