How'd he get to the Blue™?

Gabe played all over the place for Valencia; RB, LB and DE. As a senior, he rushed for 375 yards and 4 TDs AND had 51 defensive stops, 7 TFL and 7 sacks. He was named first-team All-Empire League as both a sophomore and junior and was listed as a 3-star recruit by Scout. Gabe passed on offers from Army, Colorado, Colorado State, Nevada, Utah and Utah State. Smart choice Gabe.

Sorry, I felt the need to break the chain of Lou Diamond Phillips from the previous two years. While it still stands as the best likeness, I had to switch it up because hair.

Career Highlights

Gabe red-shirted last year due to an injury, but his sophomore year with the Broncos was solid. 29 total tackles, 20 solo, 3.5 sacks and 7.5 TFL. He played in all 14 games that year. He had 6 solo tackles and 2 TFL in the Fiesta Bowl win over Arizona.

2016 Prospectus

Things are looking good for Gabe this season. There was a lot of positive talk about him coming out of spring camp. His hair looked glorious. He's also the most likely starter at the STUD position for the Broncos.

Fortunately we'll have him around for two more years since he red shirted last season while recovering from an injury. The other contenders for the position are RS sophomore Jabril Frazier and RS freshman Sam Whitney. The interesting part here is the "OR" listed after Perez on the depth chart posted by Sir Southorn.
