ESPN segment projecting BSU could ‘crash the party’
And by ‘party’, they mean the annual good ol boys soiree that’s been exclusively comprised of a representative from the Big 10, Big 12, Pac 12, ACC, or (mostly) SEC since...basically as far back as I can remember. And then some. In fact, the last time a national champion didn’t come from one of those conferences was 1984. So, aside from being the title of a great book and Van Helen’s best album, something else pretty awesome happened that year. Tragic it couldn’t have been because of a less awful non-’established power’ school though.
Boise lands commitment from in-state power, Highland High
In an excellent turn of events, Boise State has landed a verbal commitment from Aisa Kelemete. He’s a high school 6’4” 225 lbs, which translates to a college 260 (probably) defensive end. His film also looks great.
