We're all pretty familiar with this stalwart at the TE position. You know what's great? We get him for two more years!! Jake Roh, you're up!

How'd he get to the Blue™?
Jake was kind of a big deal at Chaparral. He was named All-Division II Player of the Year AND first team All-State at linebacker, of all positions. He caught 72 passes for 805 yards and 13 TDs on offense and accounted for 72 total tackles 4 sacks and 4 INTs all as a senior at CHS. Naturally, that drew the ire of many a college football coach, including Arizona, Duke, Iowa, Nevada, Oregon State, San Diego State and Washington State. Obviously, he spurned all of them to do work on The Blue™.

Career Highlights
I already spoke about his accomplishments in high school. As a red shirt freshman at Boise State, he was named All-Mountain West honorable mention after appearing in all 14 games, including 11 starts. He had 35 receptions for 408 yards and 2 TDs that year. Last year, he was named to All-Mountain West Second Team after appearing in 13 games and starting 9, hauling in 33 catches for 357 yards and and a TD. He is also a 2-time member of the All-Mountain West Academic Team.
2016 Prospectus
Jake easily has the most experience on the team at the TE position. I would consider him a receiving tight end. Not that he couldn't block, but he probably have better options in Pistone or Dhaenens since they have about 20 pounds on him. Jake, though, has himself very nicely situated in a starting position for the Broncos and I don't see him being supplanted.
Dhaenens would be our next most experience TE and I expect him to get plenty of play time. Behind him, we have a wealth of talent in Matt Pistone, Jake Knight and Chase Blakley. I expect each one of them to see the field this season as long as everyone stays healthy.
Newcomers John Bates and Nick Crabtree will both most likely red shirt simply because of the amount of talent we have at the position. That glut of talent will continue in 2017 as we won't be graduating any TEs after this year. NICE.
Is he on Twitter?
Technically, yes he is. Does he post on there ever? Well, considering the last tweet he posted himself that wasn't a RT was the same one posted last year? Yeah no...

Completely made up fact
While Jake is an amazing TE, he is an even better pastry chef. I hear he makes a bread pudding soufflé that is to die for.
