Wake Up, Bronco Nation: Boise State gymnastics places third; Football scrimmage

What did the pirate say on his 80th birthday?

"Aye Matey!!"

Broncos gymnastics season ends

And quite the run it was. While the Broncos made a good run at the end in the final rotation, it was not enough to pull ahead of California who posted a 195.925 versus the Broncos' 195.750. Ah well. the Broncos end their season with a massively impressive 18-2 and 8-0 in the MRGC. Freshman Shani Remme will continue to represent the Broncos at nationals in the balance beam where she'll moonwalk past the competition.

The Bronco football first scrimmage was last Saturday

And the defense "won" as per usual. The defense is usually ahead of the offense at this point because, with the openness of the exhibition, the offense will be extremely vanilla. So take heart in the fact that the Broncos defense is going to be stout. Not so good teams (read: bad) will have offenses considerably further along than defense (think Idaho, or Nevada). We know that we have some playmakers on offense, and that they will be fine, it is the defense that we want to see some playmakers (read: Jabril Frazier) stepping up. Next Saturday the Broncos will have their Spring Scrimmage open to the public at 5 p.m. Should be fun!

You can build any conference you like out of all the options. This came out on Friday, but it is always good to hang out and dream impossible dreams.
