And just like that, the Boise State men's tennis team gets more players on the cool kids list. These honors are the first for each of these athletes.
The Broncos landed three players on the all-Mountain West Conference list:
- Toby Mitchell, Sr--doubles
- Kyle Butters, Fr--doubles, Mountain West Freshman of the Year
- Brian Foley, Sr--singles
Toby Mitchell and Kyle Butters went 11-5 over the spring schedule. The team went 10-3 when this duo won their contests.
Mr. Butters was 7-0 in league play and 22-10 overall. Look for his name to continue to appear on lists such as these. And, quite possibly even more importantly, OBNUG Game Balls.
Mr. "Junkyard Dog" Foley, was 16-14 on the season.
With these honors in hand, the Broncos look to defend their Mountain West Conference winning streak. Want to guess how many championships they have? Four. The Bronco men have yet to lose a championship in the four years they have been in the MWC.
Also, want to know how historically good the Broncos are in tennis?
DID YOU KNOW: That Boise State men's tennis has advanced to 17 conference title matches since 1993, the Broncos are 15-2 in those contests.

So, yeah, they're "all right" at this tennis thing.
