Boise State women's tennis nab all Mountain West Conference honors

The women ended the season on a solid note with a four match winning streak. They capped off that strong regular season run with some all-conference nods.

As the women's tennis regular season has come to a close, and the tournament about to start, the Broncos have been able to get some names etched in eternal glory. Or something like that.

The Mountain West Conference released the the end of the year awards for the conference and three Broncos have made the list.

Hanna Kantenwein, noted earner of OBNUG Game Balls, made the singles list and nearly got freshman of the year. The cool thing about her is that she, for all intents and purposes, just got to Boise State. She got to Boise two weeks before the semester started and began competing. Not too shabby.

Megan LaLone and Naomi de Hart were noted for their doubles play going 10-5 in the number one slot.

LaLone is a senior and this was her second all-MWC honor having earned a spot in doubles as a sophomore.

de Hart is a sophomore and will most likely see her name in future press-releases from the Mountain West.

Friday the Broncos kickoff their run at the Mountain West tournament as the #5 seed against #4 San Jose State.
