Biggest news of the day: Idaho dropping to FCS
This news came out yesterday in a lot of places. But I'm going to give credit to the guy who has to cover the Idaho Vandals for a living. The announcement is at 11 a.m. MST so be on the lookout for your social media of choice to mention something about it.
I'm being told by multiple people that Idaho is in fact expected to announce tomorrow its intention to move to FCS and join the Big Sky.

Even though there are puh-lenty of jokes to be had about this move, the thing I fear are the other sports affected by this. Chuck Staben has stated, quite bluntly, that because the school will no longer be obligated to offer the proportionate women's scholarships. So there (probably) goes the women's swimming & diving team.
Overall, it is a smart move. But still difficult.

Getting the degree is the most important thing these guys can get after their playing years are done (well, for most of them anyway). So it is also good to see them getting some hard-earned recognition. Kudos to these guys!
Men's tennis team the #2 seed entering the MWC tournament
Great for them. However they open against the #7 Nevada. Nevada had beaten the Broncos during the regular season. Hopefully the Broncos can take those lessons and come away with a win!
