Unless you have been living under a rock for the past few days and missed yesterday's news, you know that Boise State is now down to two quarterbacks (I am sticking with Drew's non-inclusion of Anthony Upshaw). Mr. Ryan Finley has decided to move on in search of more playing time and another opportunity to start. To which, I have no doubt everyone here (and all of Bronco Nation) wish Finley nothing but the best.
Now comes the tough part for the staff: replacing the depth on the chart and, hopefully, quickly developing the talent that is already on the way (looking at you Mr. Constantine). While Boise State has had the fortune of having a "clear cut" number one, and a young signal caller that can develop, having a young quarterback can also backfire. Whether it is the difficulty of getting a kid to want to try and supplant a clear number one or getting current quarterbacks to stay put.
After thinking about the current situation, I have devised a quick, and easy, flowchart that will help us easily predict the ability of any particular quarterback prospect to have success while spending his time at Boise State.
Without further ado, I present:.
