Another Monday, another Game Balls
Game Ball One:
Logan France (golf)
Mr. France had the best finish for the Broncos at the Barona Collegiate Cup. The team finished third overall behind France's 11th place finish. He had shot a 2-under par for the course and finished with a total of 214. This tied the team's best finish of the year.
Congratulations Mr. France!!
Game Ball Two:
Rebekah Cervantes (softball)
The Broncos have had a rough go of for the year (8-23, 0-2 MWC). But not for efforts of some really good bats. Enter Ms. Cervantes. Cervantes had a four-hit game against the Nevada Wolf Pack that resulted in two doubles, and three RBIs. And she also scored. While the Broncos can certainly score, it's closing out games where they have been having issues. Once they figure that part out, they will be a force.
Game Ball Three:
Kyle Butters (tennis)
Mr. Kyle Butters came through for the Broncos to help deliver the overall win versus Cal Poly on Saturday. Butters was on the only winning doubles team and he also won the no. 4 match to ensure the Broncos' 4-3 win. This was the second straight win over a nationally ranked opponent.
Congratulations to Mr. Butters!
