Why starting a true freshman quarterback is so hard

This is kind of an old one (posted back on the 11th of March) but am not sure how I missed it. With Boise State's recent hat-toss into the ring that is starting a true freshman, Coach Harsin had this to say:

"It's like a rookie quarterback in the NFL: Can he handle it? You don't know those things because the test hasn't been given yet."

Makes sense.
