So, Boise State men did not make the NCAA
Which we all kind of new. Some snubs? San Diego State, St. Mary's, and Monmouth. The Monmouth one is kind of a big deal though. Which makes sense. Why should teams make an effort and get no reward? And there is Tulsa. No one (except for Tulsa) was happy they got in. Even the Tulsa did not think they would make it.
Boise State men also did not make the NITs
Only slightly shocking. But if you were paying attention to those guys who made the NCAA field (and who did not) it makes sense. Monmouth and, more importantly, San Diego State getting the snub most likely doomed the Broncos' chances of getting the NIT. Broncos admin have already said the CBI and the CIT were out. But, apparently, the team wants to keep playing so there is a big shot for the Vegas 16. They do have the invite, the Broncos just need accept.
Sounds like Vegas 16 field won't be announced until tomorrow. Boise State fans will have to wait until tomorrow to see if season is over...
