Geordan Martinez earns Pac-12 honor

Geordan Martinez, Boise State's sophomore grappler in the 149 lb. weight class had himself a pretty good week—going 3-0 in duals against Stanford, CSU-Bakersfield, and Cal Poly—good enough to garner Pac-12 Wrestler of the Week honors. Martinez—currently ranked 15th in his weight class by InterMat—has now won 14 straight matches and will try to close out the regular season with a win against Oregon State in the Border War this weekend. Martinez is the first Bronco wrestler recognized this year by the Pac-12 and should be one of the favorites to win an individual title at the league championships on February 27 in Tempe.
