Boise State finished the regular season 10-2 and will play in the Cactus Bowl against Baylor. This will give a solid opportunity for the Broncos to mangle a P5 opponent in Phoenix once again.
Let’s check in on the soon-to-be Broncos!
Jermani Brown, ATH, Midlothian HS (Midlothian, VA)
Stats have still not been uploaded for Jermani. He did, however, earn Most Outstanding DB on his team at his end-of-the-year banquet.
(2/2): Most Outstanding Def Lineman- Brayden Staib, Most Outstanding Def Back- Jermani Brown, TROJAN Award winner- Ivan Jackson. Congrats!

Aisa Kelemete, DE, Highland HS (Pocatello, ID)
Aisa’s stat have yet to be updated. I’ll post when they are available. Aisa did have surgery to repair a shoulder injury. He was also honored as the #10 best player in the northwest.
I'd like to thank God, Dr. Newhouse and his assistants for a successful surgery. Minor setback for a major comeback pic.twitter.com/KMeDZxYICj

Isiah Moore, OT, Mesa CC (Mesa, AZ)
Mesa outlasted Lackawanna CC in the Valley of the Sun Bowl, winning 48-42 in double overtime. The Thunderbirds finish the year 9-2, 6-1 in conference. Congratulations to Moore and the Thunderbirds on a stellar season!
Breydon Boyd, LB, Katy HS (Katy, TX)
Breydon’s stats haven’t been posted all season, so hopefully I will be able to locate them at some point. He has some highlights on HUDL, but for whatever reason they crash the blog when I post the link. Just use the google machine to find them.
Michael Young, DB, Dodge City CC (Dodge City, KS)
Dodge City finished the regular season with a 28-21 win over Hutchinson, finishing 7-4. Michael had 4 total tackles, 2 solo and .5 tackles for loss in the win. He has 42 total tackles, 28 solo, 3 TFL, 2 fumbles caused, 1 recovered, 2 INTs, 6 pass break-ups and 3 kicks blocked.
I’m not seeing anywhere that DCCC was selected to a bowl game.
Chase Cord, QB, Sunrise Mountain HS (Peoria, AZ)
Chase’s totals for the season, are as follows: 149 of 249 (59.8%) for 2,721 yards, 38 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. He also had 74 rushes for 155 yards and 6 more TDs.
For his career, he finished 528 of 829 (63.7%) for 9,493 yards, 137 TDs and 20 INTs. He also had 40 carries for 391 yards and 38 more TDs. That’s 175 TDs accounted for in his HS career. CRAZY.
While his senior season is over, he will still get plenty of these!

Now, we wait. Players will be more active in the coming weeks, looking to make their choices now that their senior seasons are over. Well, MOST of them are over anyway. The Broncos have 13 current commits and could take another 10. In the coming weeks, I plan on diving into who is still on the board, who we are losing and who will replace them.
Apologies for the continuity in some of the players info. Hoping stats start showing up for them. Tune in next week! GO BRONCOS!
