Analyserization
This depth chart is identical to the one released just prior to the Air Force game. It’s the only one that I’ve received from Boise State sports information since that game (on the 15th), so it is the ‘official’ depth chart. That said, there are two obvious changes that need to be made: Jabril Frazier and Dylan Sumner-Gardner have both been ruled out for this game. Frazier was ruled out with a shoulder injury and Gardner with...super-unfortunately-no-longer-with-the-team-itis.
So, who takes their places? With Jabril, it seems that his alternate is already built into the depth chart, and it’s logical to assume that Bronco coaches will remove the ‘or’ designation and just put Durrant Miles in as the starter at end, opposite McCaskill.
With DSG’s absence, there is actually a pretty well established precedent that Cameron Hartsfield will be the one to take his place. With that move, we also would have the benefit of knowing what the on-field product looks like, and it’s actually really good. Hartsfield was very solid to start the year, and has been a reliable player all season. There should be minimal drop-off with him taking over the spot.
