FINAL: Boise State 79, CSUN 62
This game was over before halftime.
The Broncos got off to a hot start and didn’t look back. The stats aren’t eye-popping, though. At half the Broncos were 40% from the field and 38% from 3, but were a stellar 86% from the line.
CSUN, who came into the game averaging 80 points, managed just 21. They shot 27% from the field, 50% from 3 (2-4) and 42% from the line.
The biggest difference outside of the points were rebounds. The Broncos had 24 to CSUN’s 13 at half.
The second half was much of the same. The final score was the closest CSUN ever really got. There were a large amount of fouls too. 57 total between the two teams and 78 total free throws.
The Broncos finished 20-55 (36%) from the field, 6-20 (30%) from 3 and 33-43 (77%) from the line. Hutchison finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Austin also had 20 points. Reid was the only other Bronco over 10 points with 13.
Next week, the Broncos begin conference play at Utah State. Go Broncos!
