The Interesting

There wasn’t a whole lot of surprise to this development, but Alexander Mattison has completely supplanted Devan Demas as the backup to Jeremy McNichols in all aspects now. Where before the depth chart formally had Mattison as the ‘or’ with Demas, that is now gone. All remnants of the old republic have been swept away.

Yes...that was a Star Wars reference. Have I mentioned how stoked I am for Rogue One?!?

The Most Interesting

Dylan Sumner-Gardner has already had a fairly eventful tenure in his time at Boise State, but based off of the ongoing comments from the coaching staff (including some from today), it appears he is near—or has already achieved—a return to their good graces. More than once Harsin and Avalos have expounded, in as vague terms as humanly possible, about how they try to prepare young men for life as well as to teach them to be solid contributors to the team. Whatever requirement he was striving to reach has apparently been reached, as he has been steadily worked into the rotation the last few weeks and has now fully reclaimed a starting spot. Cam Hartsfield, who had manned the position in the interim, looks like he will actually now be Chanceller James’ backup on the other side when he returns from injury.
