Say what you want about the season. Very few teams have a better record than the 10-2 Broncos. Lots of work to do next season, but we had a lot of young talent do some great things this season. We have a lot to look forward to in the coming years.

Let’s check in on the soon-to-be Broncos!

Stats have still not been uploaded for Jermani.

Aisa’s stat have yet to be updated. I’ll post when they are available.

Isiah Moore, OT, Mesa CC (Mesa, AZ)

Mesa finished the regular season with a win over Pima CC 37-32. They finished 8-2 for the season. As an O-lineman, Isiah doesn’t have stats that have been attributed to him. Isiah was named to All WSFL 1st team at left tackle.

Mesa will host the Valley of the Sun Bowl on December 3rd. The will play the undefeated Lakawana Falcons.

Breydon Boyd, LB, Katy HS (Katy, TX)

Katy lost to North Shore 20-17 in the semi-finals of playoffs on Friday. Katy finishes their season 10-3.

Breydon’s stats haven’t been posted all season, so hopefully I will be able to locate them at some point.

Michael Young, DB, Dodge City CC (Dodge City, KS)

Dodge City finished the regular season with a 28-21 win over Hutchinson, finishing 7-4. Michael had 4 total tackles, 2 solo and .5 tackles for loss in the win. He has 42 total tackles, 28 solo, 3 TFL, 2 fumbles caused, 1 recovered, 2 INTs, 6 pass break-ups and 3 kicks blocked.

Chase Cord, QB, Sunrise Mountain HS (Peoria, AZ)

Sunrise Mountain lost a shootout to Catalina Foothills 52-49 on Friday. The Mustangs finished 10-2. Cord passed for 252 yards and 4 TDs in the loss.

His totals for the season, are as follows: 149 of 249 (59.8%) for 2,721 yards, 38 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. He also had 74 rushes for 155 yards and 6 more TDs.

Tyreque Jones DB, San Gorgonio HS (San Bernardino, CA)

The Spartans beat Golden Valley on Friday 39-34. Tyreque played a huge role in the win, rushing twice for 10 yards, hauling in 5 catches for 113 yards and 2 TDs, 7 total tackles, all solo, and 2 passes defended.

The Spartans take on Norte Vista in the CIF Southern Section Championship this Friday. Good luck to Tyreque and the Spartans!

Cartrell Thomas, WR, Lancaster HS (Lancaster, TX)

Lancaster continues to roll as they defeated Wylie East 27-20, oddly, on Friday. Stats weren’t available, but Thomas had at least one TD in the win.

Lancaster will play Poteet on 12/2 in the quarterfinals of the playoffs. Good luck to Cartrell and the Tigers!

It looks like we still have 2 players whose teams are still in their respective playoffs. Tyreque Jones’ Spartans play in the CIF Southern Section Championship on Friday and Cartrell Thomas’ Tigers move on to the quarterfinals. Isiah Moore’s Thunderbirds are going to a JC bowl and Michael Young’s Conquistadors are playing the waiting game. That will do it this week for the future Broncos.

Apologies for the continuity in some of the players info. Hoping stats start showing up for them. Tune in next week! GO BRONCOS!
