Wake Up, Bronco Nation: Boise State volleyball wins; O-line love; Swimmer

NCAA Football: UNLV at Boise State Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

I feel bad for the calendar.

Its days are numbered.

You guys like watching old NCAA football games?

Especially Boise State games? Visit an old Nuggie’s channel over on YouTube: Mark the Bronco. He’s got a bunch of games up, and he has all of this year’s games. Feeling nostalgic, you should head on over and take a gander.

Brittany Aoyama named Mountain West Conference Swimmer of the Week

This is the second such honor for the Bronco and, I assume, just another of many!

Bronco volleyball wins the MWC outright

And so it was written.

Broncos put down quite the whooping on the conference opponents this year. And, in the process, totaled the second most number of wins since 1981 (that team went 28-5) by going 25-6.

One of the cool things about this particular squad is that they had only graduated one Senior, Maddy O’Donnell. The rest should be back for next year and another round of domination. Congratulations to the Broncos by being awesome.

Phil Steele’s strength of wins/pains of losses

Pretty simple: the more you win, the more you get “credit” for your opponent’s wins. Boise State is pretty high on this list (not going to spoil it here). Though I will say that Fresno State is dead last at 128. Yowza.

Boise State football offensive line is up for an award

Which is cool. Jeremy McNichols did not get all those yards by himself. And Brett Rypien avoiding too many hits is great. Kudos to these guys, the unsung heroes of this whole thing.

Boise State football checks in on the official CFP at no. 19

The highest ranked Group of Five team.

A couple of events have to happen before this is actually any sort of interesting. So I won’t be getting hopes, or anything, but still. In the immortal words of T-Pain:
