While this news did drop yesterday, sometimes it is best to leave some space between all the awards announcements so we can fully appreciate each accomplishment.
This one is for cross country as, over the weekend, Ms. Brenna Peloquin dominated the field at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational. This gave her a second win on the year (the first race she won was the Roy Griak Invitational). The true sophomore has been putting on a show for the Broncos and she is gathering a lot of steam nationally.
To that end, Ms. Peloquin has done something that no other Bronco has done.
She has earned the USFTCCCA National Athlete of the Week.
Twice.
Congrats to @stop_pel! The first Bronco in program history to earn @USTFCCCA #NAOTW honors twice!

Which is an amazing feat. Ms. Peloquin has set herself up to have one of the best careers, not only as a Bronco, but in the NCAA. She keeps this up, Ms. Peloquin may be representing the United States in the Olympics four years from now.
