Who's Betting on Boise State? Week 7

Each week that I'm not too lazy, I scour the interwebs to find out which expert prognosticators pick Boise State to win, and which ones suck farts. This weekend features Colorado State at Boise State.

Writer Josh Liskiewitz sees this in his crystal ball:

Expect a huge day on the ground from Boise State RB Jeremy McNichols, who currently stands fifth in our elusive rating due to his forcing 32 missed tackles and 125 total touches.

His prediction?

Bleeping Report

They somehow pulled off an intelligent pick:

Boise still trails Houston in the polls with a few weeks until the first playoff standings come out. The Broncos will pad their resume with another blowout win in the hope that impresses voters and the selection committee.

Athlon always has a pretty well-researched preview. The link is worth a click.

Here's a missed opportunity:

Moa has been an absolute terror for opposing offenses to deal with this season. The undersized defensive lineman has been penetrating backfields and throwing off the opposing offense's timing in every game so far. Interior defensive linemen don't traditionally accumulate large numbers in the sack column, but Moa has 5.5 through five games. His presence will force Colorado State to devote extra manpower to controlling him. That likely will free up other Bronco defenders to pin their ears back when the Rams are in obvious passing downs.

Yes, but does he have a nickname?

I really like Pete Fiutak and Robert Judin. These guys really believe in Boise State, and also believe they deserve the same chance as any other undefeated team.

This will be all Boise State. From start to finish, the Broncos are going to run circles around the Rams. Rypien will come out firing and find Wilson early to get Boise State on the board. He’ll end up throwing three more touchdowns, and the Broncos will let McNichols run wild yet again. He’ll rush for at least 100 yards and a score but will also catch one of Rypien’s touchdown strikes. Stevens will also get the Rams on the board through the air, but that will be Colorado State’s only touchdown. Harsin’s Broncos take this one easily.

Not impressed with this webcast journalism, complete with blurry video and backlit analysis from someone's living room. Kelly Stewart (who apparently keeps her brains in her shirt), says Boise State, "hasn't played anybody."

But they pick us, so okay.
