I never use pig puns.

They are so boaring.

Boise State has the most number of dominant wins from 2007-2016

This is a list of number of wins in that time span. The Broncos, with 100 wins, are third behind Alabama and Ohio State with 103 and 102 respectively. In fourth is Oregon with 93 wins.

A “dominant win” is defined as a win by more than 25 points. The Broncos have 51 wins that qualify as a dominant wins. Alabama, who has the second-most, has 50.

You can look at the other columns for narrow wins, losses, etc. Some good info there.

As a bit of contrast, Idaho is 123rd with a record of 23-84. You never realize just how much those extra bowl games add up until you run into a team that never really goes to any.

Broncos released the the uniform scheme for this Saturday

And you can’t go wrong with the Fiesta Bowl look.

Which I have always wondered: what would ever happen if the Broncos are the “home” team? Orange helmet, blue jersey, and white pants? A different combo?

Fox Sports college football bowl projections

The bowl game is reasonably predictable (Cotton Bowl) but the matchup always seems to change depending on who is writing it. It would not break my heart to A) go to the Cotton Bowl; B) go against any of the teams that are mentioned. Would be fun to see how these things go.

CBS Sports bottom 25

(H/T: kcam)

The important thing here is that Idaho is still in the Bottom 25 despite winning. That is consistency.

Pro Football Focus has Cedrick Wilson and Thomas Sperbeck on their Team of the Week

Not a surprise here as both of these guys had pretty outstanding games.

Help the Boise State rugby club team earn money for a scrum sled

But don’t take my word for it, watch their video.

As of this writing they have only accumulated $35 towards their $5,500 goal. That’s quite the shortfall. So, if you can, see what you can do to help these guys out.

And speaking of funding

The above link is the front page to Boise State’s “Pony Up” site where organizations asking for money are displayed for your perusal. Any of the requests would be worth your time, so see what you can do to help!

Apparently another Bronco softball commit

This one wasn’t too apparent from the particular tweet, but perusing the page helped.

First there was The Beardly. And it was good.
