Constantine commits to Boise State.

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

In a crazy turn of events, Boise immediately lands a commitment from 3-star QB Jake Constantine out of Camarillo High School in Camarillo, CA.

Listed at 6'2 and 180lbs, Jake had a banner year at Camarillo. He threw for 3,988 yards, 51 TDs and 6 Ints. For Bronco fans that have been following recruiting, that is very similar to our recently departed Micah Wilson's stats. Keep in mind, Constantine also plays in California, widely debated as the hottest recruiting bed in the country.

He had no offers, strangely, but that is of no concern. He has announced for the Broncos and we will welcome him with open arms!

While Damien announced it to me privately and just moments before I saw it, I'll go ahead and give the credit to Michael Katz since it was the first non-nuggie to post.

While I thought the "GO BRONCOS!" may have come from a new running back, I was pleasantly surprised to fill our missing qb spot. Great pick-up for the Broncos and excited to get Jake on campus. Go Broncos!
