Boise State's junior forward just tomahawk slammed his way to his 2nd straight Mountain West Player of the Week honor and 3rd in 4 weeks and I don't think the Player of the Year prize is looking like too much of a stretch. Webb's considerable basketball...let's call it "mystique", is really a sight to behold as he's gone from unsung JuCo transfer to lightly used bench player to president of the Treasure Valley chapter of Phi Slamma Jamma in record time. The Webb-slinger shot better than 57 percent from the floor over the last week and nearly 45% from beyond the arc, but probably made Coach Rice the most proud with ZERO turnovers in his last 65 minutes of ballin'. The Broncos, winners of 9 straight, have plenty of playmakers on the court (and on the bench), but Webby's consistency and clutch play is worth the price of admission (plus a soda and pretzel). Congratulations to James Webb III on bogarting the POW honors over the last month and here's to many more.
