I sit here, now, in my Bronco Snuggie, to let you know that DBU is alive, well, and growing. De'Andre Pierce of Polytechnic High School in Long Beach, CA committed to the Broncos on this chilling evening while visiting. There was quite a bit of chatter on the Twitterverse that it may be Pierce, but on my timeline, it was BJ Rains that comes through with the official announcement.

Listed at 5'11" and 170lbs, Pierce also had offers from Army, Navy, Nevada, Colorado State, and San Jose State. He joins Robert Lewis, Reid Harrison-Ducros and Desmond Williams as DB commits for the 2016 class. He's listed as a 2-star recruit by Scout and 3-star by Rivals.
What you'll notice from the video below is he is fast, quick, opportunistic, and a sure open-field tackler. He has great vision and field presence, acting quickly well before the ball is released. All in all, a great addition to the DBU family. The key is holding onto these diamonds-in-the-rough once the commitment is made. Go Broncos!
