How'd he get to the Blue™?
Brandon made his way to the Blue via the walk-on route. According to last year’s article as well as his Bronco Sports profile, his father played basketball at Boise State from 1971-1973. The blood line had been drawn.
Nickname
"B.B."
I’ll stick with it. Simple and definitive.

2015 Prospectus
With the current depth at safety, I don’t see Brandon seeing the field a ton this season—at least at that position. But that doesn’t mean I don’t hope that he does. I have a soft spot in my heart for walk-ons, so I'm definitely pulling for him. I can see Brandon getting in on some late-game plays on some of the out-of-hand affairs as well as the occasional special teams situation, but I don’t really anticipate him moving onto the two deep. DSG and Thompson will most likely start, with Miles right in the mix, and Hartsfield, Tyler and Wright vying for snaps as well. That’s a tough hill to climb, but I will never count a walk-on out, especially one that has been with the program over two years. Best of luck to him this season.
Is he on Twitter?
Yes he is, and methinks he’s excited for the season to start

Completely made up fact
Brandon has a strange pre-game tradition: he eats half a pound of squeaky cheese. He doesn’t eat it because of the taste, even though he likes them fine. No, he eats them because of the sounds they make.
