Who's it Gonna be?

Chris Strickley opens up the discussion for which QB has the edge in light of recent events. He examines each quarterback and then includes a poll at the end of the article. Of course, it's hard to say without watching each of them perform in Fall camp, but that doesn't stop us all from wondering. Early on in the polls, it looks like Rypien is the favorite, but I hope this isn't another Nick Patti scenario, where he's expected to be the next Kellen Moore and when another gets the start and makes a few mistakes (like growing a wispy fart mustache), everyone is calling for Patti Rypien to step in and save us. There's bound to be some growing pains for every player.

No Individual Tickets Available for UW Home Opener

Not a season ticket holder? You might want to make friends with one! Boise State is only allowing season ticket holders to purchase extra tickets for the Washington game on Sept. 4th, so choose your friends wisely, then shower them with gifts.

Q&A with Mark Coyle

Here's what he says about game start-times:

We hear our fans. We’ve heard loud and clear the late kickoffs are a challenge, and I don’t disagree. We’ve talked a lot with the conference and ESPN to find a better balance. We were fortunate to host that game, but it gets cold at 8 p.m. in Boise in December, so if we’re fortunate enough to get it again, hopefully an earlier kick gets more fans here.

He also touches briefly on updates to Taco Ballerina (Doritos shells?), Ryan Finley, and the possibility of him leaving for another job.
