What do we do now?

Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

Spring football is officially over, which marks an end to any Bronco football for a while. It's not my favorite time of year, but that doesn't mean there aren't things to look forward to. Here's a useful calendar so you can budget your time or while away the days.

April 15 (that's today)—File your tax returns if you haven't already done that. The IRS appreciates your contribution. If you happen to be waiting in line at the post office at around 3:22, check your twitter feed because 4-star QB Devon Modster is set to announce his college choice then. Sean's little bro will be choosing between the Broncos, Arizona and UCLA. Blood is thicker than water, Devon (and turpentine).

April 30—NFL Draft. Jay Ajayi is the only draft lock at this point, but Matt Miller, Grant Hedrick and others could hear their names called as well. If not, there are worse things than free agency—just ask Jeron Johnson.

May 10—Mother's Day. Call your mom.

May 25—Memorial Day. Break out your grill and roast some hot dogs for America. Speaking of America...there is nothing more American than Sizzler.

May 28—Roster Countdown begins. It's 100 days of lookalikes, scouting reports and stupid nickname puns.

May 30—I get burnt out on doing the roster countdown.

June 12–17—Boise State Football Camp. The Elite Individual Camp and High School Team camp take place on these dates. A lot of offers go out and Boise State generally sees an uptick in commitments at this time.

June 21—Father's Day. I need a new ratchet set...don't forget!

July 4—Blow stuff up. Eat meat. Go to Sizzler.

August—Fall Camp is starting right around this time. I hope to be there.

August 15—My birthday. Still haven't got that ratchet set. It's the Craftsmen one at Lowes. Here's a coupon.

August 20—Ryan Finley named starting Boise State quarterback.

August 21—Brett Rypien seizes the quarterback position in a bloodless coup.

August 23—Deuce Mataele is ruled ineligible again.

August 25—ACL Tear awareness day.

September 4—Boise State's home opener against Washington. Boise State wins, but it's still kinda awkward.
