Final: Boise State 81, Portland 71
Boise State didn't take their first lead until there was 3:20 left in the first half, and they weathered several scoring surges from the Pilots before finally prevailed, but prevail they did and that's what counts. The Broncos move to 5-4 on the year after taking down the Pilots in the Rose City and were led by Anthony Drmic's 24 points and James Webb's 14 rebounds. Portland actually outshot the Broncos, sinking 44% of their shots to the Broncos 42%, but the Pilots only shot 8 free throws to the Broncos' 28 and ultimately, that was key to a Bronco win. Hey! Here's a Paris Austin to James Webb alley-oop!

The Broncos will be home next Wednesday to take on Loyola-Marymount and we'll hope things go just a tad smoother.
